Patricia Ann (Acord) Lewis

Patricia Ann (Acord) Lewis passed away peacefully and woke up in Heaven Sunday, January 26,2025. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cecil Lewis, her parents, Omer Lacy and Ruby Bell Harris Acord, her brother, Carlton Acord. Those left to remember her include her daughter, Alana Lewis; son, Thomas and Angela Lewis; granddaughter, Brenna and Tyler Roth, grandsons, Adam and Tracy Lewis, Seth and Celese Lewis; great grandchildren, Harrison Lewis and Mallorie Lewis. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews and her Rocking Chair family. Patricia was always a lifelong learner she could come up with the question 95% of the answers on Jeopardy. She could work a daily high level crossword puzzle in ink and read a 500+ page book in a day. Patricia was a loving and patient wife and mother. Her heart belonged to her husband and family and her soul belonged to God. She was an exemplary example of strong faith and dedication to Arnett Chapel. Her life of service to the Lord and the church included assistant treasurer, singing in the choir and with the Arnett Quartet. She also worked for the community through the Samaritan Sisters. Some of her most treasured memories were those with the Lunch Bunch. She loved the family trips to the Outer Banks, NC, cooking and baking for family and church functions. Patricia is now walking the streets of gold without any help with her husband and those that have gone on before. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00 in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Pastor Larry Kinder officiating. Interment will follow in the Miller Cemetery Rock Creek, WV. The visitation will be one hour before the service.
