Patty Ann Mullins

Patty Ann Mullins, 71, of Bloomingrose, WV, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 2, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1953, in Boone County, WV, the daughter of the late Juanita Deal and Ishum Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Lee Mullins, and her brother, Billy Joe Deal. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a way of lighting up any room she entered, and everyone who knew her loved her dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Patricia shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, David Lee Mullins. She dedicated 38 years to her work as a social worker for Head Start and was a proud member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary Post. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Polly (Bill) Morrison, Billy (Jennifer) Mullins, and Ernie (Kurie) Mullins; her 8 grandchildren, Christopher (Kaylee) Montgomery, Heather (Dustin) Mullins, Hayley Canterbury, Kaylie (Ryan) Webb, Kelsie (Ethan) Brogan, Brianna (Steven) Dickens, Billy (Maddy) Mullins, and Ashley (Chad) Mullins; and her 17 great-grandchildren, Reed, Carter, Rylie, Gabe, Brantley, Douglas, Alynlee, Gracie, Camden, David, Annastyn, James, Amelia, Carli, Isabella, Rhett, and Jaxson; Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at two o’clock in the Tony’s Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Bloomingrose, WV with Rev. Roger Gogus officiating; Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV. Visitation will be 2 hours before the service; Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
