Randal Walker, born October 4, 1949, a beloved father, brother, partner, and friend, passed away on August 31, 2024. He was a man with a great heart, never meeting a stranger and always ready to extend friendship to anyone he encountered. Randal was born and raised in West Virginia and built a life in both Columbus, Ohio, and Sylvester, West Virginia, where he centered his life on love for his family and a deep commitment to those around him. Randal proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and throughout his life, his sense of duty, loyalty, and honor remained a cornerstone of his character. He brought these values into every aspect of his life, always offering a warm smile. He is survived by his brothers, Danny Walker of Sylvester, West Virginia, and Fred Walker of Danville, West Virginia; his sisters, Irene Perdue of Bloomingrose, West Virginia, Carolyn Brown of Cape Canaveral, Florida, Tammy Alaia of Cape Canaveral, Florida, and Brenda Boulet of Rock Creek, West Virginia. He is also survived by his loving partner, Alice Webb of Groveport, Ohio, and their children, Randall Webb of Groveport, Ohio, and Walter Webb of Buckeye Lake, Ohio. His extended family includes his stepson, Jared McClure of Placentia, California, and stepdaughter, Sherry Spurlock Tinsley of Charleston, West Virginia. Randal was blessed with nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Norman Walker and Goldie Marcella Mae Walker; his sisters, Joyce White of Columbus, Ohio, and Rita Vanoy Pettus of West Virginia; and his brother, Norman Edward Walker of Whitesville, West Virginia. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Randal on Friday, September 13, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home in Whitesville, West Virginia. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial at Pineview Cemetery in Orgas, West Virginia. Randal will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of friendship, love, and service will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Following the burial there will be a small get together at the Orgas Access Big Coal River at the picnic area in Sylvester.
