Randall Wayne Coots 08-12-1962 thru 8-31-2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Randall Wayne Coots, better known as Randy at 7:10 am on August 31st, 2024, at the age of 62. He sadly took his last breath due to Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cancer at the Bowers Hospice House, in Beckley WV, He was surrounded by his loving family. He touched the hearts of everyone he knew. He was passionate about classic rock, cars, Marvel, hunting, all animals and Sci-fi. His heart was for the road, and he has traveled all over the country before landing in South Carolina, but West Virginia and Michigan were special to him. He had lived a long and hard life but had fought to the very end. He grew up in Michigan but was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Osborn High School in Detroit, Michigan. Following his late father's footsteps, Paul Coots, he was recruited into the Marine Corps before a tragic incident that left him paralyzed before he was able to fully enlist. This was but a minor setback for him as he went onto gaining strength back into his legs and back. Nothing kept him back as he went on to be a jack of all trades from mechanic work to locksmithing. He was the son of Paul Wayne Coots and Edith Coots, and he was a brother to William Zane Coots, Sandy Dillon, and CW Coots. Randy Coots was married to Kimberly Ann Coots for 28 years and had three children Brianna Coots, Joann Coots, and Raymond Coots and his bonus children Alexus Baugher and Serenity Fouche. He also had dogs who were like his children Kilo, Thor, and Jasper he loved very much. The in-laws he left behind were also his siblings Brett Dillon, Preston George, Ricky George, David George, and Michelle Mueller. He had many nieces and nephews, but his favorite nieces were Michelle Cook and Paula Stafford. His other Nieces and Nephews are: The late Chris Jones, Micheal Jones, Little Brett, Joey Dillon, Matthew Stafford, Brandon Cook, Anthony and Kaylyn George. He also was a great uncle to Taylor Cook, Dillon Stafford, Keith Dillon, Kadence Cook, Levi Stafford, Jaxson Stafford, Bella Dillon. Great Uncle to Paxton Jude. Honorary Niece Ashley Toney. Honorary Grandkids Kambrie and Matthew. Randy was loved by so many, and his memories will live on with the many family members and friends that he had. There will be a Memorial service for him at the First Presbyterian Church, Colcord WV on Friday September 13th at 1:00 pm.
