Richard Steven Stover

Richard Steven Stover of Princewick, WV died on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Raleigh General Hospital. He was 62 years old and was the son of the late Eric Dale Stover and Marilyn Joan Stover. He was born November 24, 1957 in Philadelphia PA. He was a proud US Army Veteran. He loved playing chess and watching sports and was of the Apostolic Faith, He was preceded in death by his wife, of 41 years, Regina Stover, his stepson, Michael Blankenship, his brother, Jerry Stover and his two nephews, Geroge and Trae. Surviors are his sons, Toney Stover and Ricky Stover, a daughter, Stacy Sweeny, and his step-daughter, Kim Blankenship; his sisters, Joanne Damon, Joyce Stover, and Danette “Cookie” Runion; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many.  A Memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon September 27, 2020 at three o’clock In the Ewings Creek Church of Jesus Christ Ewings Creek, WV with Pastor Loretta Taylor and Rev. Becky Maynor officiating Interment will follow at Ewings Creek Cemetery with the Committal Service by Associate Pastor Johnny Taylor.
