Richard C. Vealey

   Richard C. Vealey, 63, of Naoma, WV went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2023 at his home with his dad by his side. He was born Feb. 5, 1960. Richard was the son of Clinton Vealey of Naoma, WV and Peggy Taylor of Maiden, NC. He was preceded in death by his stepmom, Janet F. Vealey, whom she loved as her own; a nephew, Kaiden Vealey; paternal grandparents, Hubert and Merly Vealey; maternal grandparents, Fred and Annie Kalinoski. Those left to cherish the memory of his beautiful smile and great sense of humor; brothers, Nathan Vealey of Maiden, NC and Jeff “Susan” Vealey of Valdese, NC; nephews, Nathaniel Vealey and Daniel Slocum; nieces, Kayla Vealey and Natalie Vealey of North Carolina and Megan MaCleod; great nieces, Autumn and Avery Vealey; sisters, Melissa “Allen” Slocum of Ellenboro, WV and Charlie Cook of Claremont, NC and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Richard loved playing games on his IPad and working his puzzle book. Also riding his SXS to go visit his friends. He will be missed by his loving family and friends. He always had a smile for everyone and loved telling his stories to make you laugh and so happy to be with everyone. A memorial in his honor will be held at a later date.
