Rodney Irving Dickens, 66, of Dameron, WV died Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born April 17, 1954 at Charleston, WV a son of the late Irvin and Sarah Adeline Webb Dickens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert and three sisters, Ann, Charity, and Christine. Rodney was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA having worked with Eastern Assoc. Coal Company. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Arleen Crouch Dickens and one son, Rodney Alan Dickens; a brother, Stanley and one sister, Rebecca. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon March  2, 2021 At one o’clock In the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Pastor Loretta Taylor officiating.
