Rodney Joe Honaker

Rodney Joe Honaker, 44, of Martinsburg, WV died suddenly on Oct 31, 2022, at his home in Martinsburg, WV. He was born April 11, 1978, in Beckley, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Dale (Bimbo) Honaker and the mother of his children and best friend, Kerri Anne Alpaugh; his nephew Tyler Eugene Crawford, his paternal grandparents, Delmar and Lou Cook Honaker, his maternal grandparents, Joe Roy Wills Sr. and Theda Barker Wills, and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was survived by his beautiful daughter Kayla Anne Honaker and companion AJ Williams and son Rodney Logan Honaker both of Arnett; his mother, Joetta Withrow of Martinsburg; formerly of Arnett, WV, one sister, Shauna Honaker and brother-in-law, Timothy Crawford of Stickney, WV, two brothers, Bobby White and companion, Katie Irvin of Orrstown, PA, Kevin Withrow of Martinsburg, WV,  two nieces, Skylar Crawford and companion, TJ Adkins of Fairdale, WV Laela White of Orrstown, PA and two nephews, Gaven Crawford and Isaac Crawford both of Stickney , one great nephew, Hamilton Adkins and step great niece, Delilah Adkins both of Fairdale, WV and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins that he loved very much. Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards. Rodney enjoyed his many collections of model cars, knives, sports cards, and various other collectables. He always had a smile and kind words for everyone. Rodney had a heart of gold. He kept everyone laughing having a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all but will remain in our hearts forever; Pallbearer: Bobby White, Kevin Withrow, Logan Honaker, Timmy Crawford, Gaven Crawford, Isaac Crawford, Jimmy Lucas, B. J. Farley, Teddy Farley. Funeral Services will be held Monday afternoon, November 7, 2022, at one o’clock in the Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV with Pastor Daniel Rutherford officiating, Interment in Cook Cemetery, Arnett, WV. Visitation will begin 2 hours before the service.
