Rosemary (Cremeans) Perdue

Rosemary Perdue (Sis, Momaw, or Rosie as she preferred), 67, of Racine, WV, went home to be with the Lord on November 27th, 2024, while surrounded by family. She was born on May 23, 1957, to the late Leslie Bradley Cremeans and Ella Mae Dotson. After attending Sherman High School, she went on to become a Home Health Aid to care for patients in Hospice. She was married to her loving husband, Benjamin Perdue, for 48 years. Rosemary had a huge heart and selflessly cared for others, always offering love, comfort, and kindness to everyone she met. She had a gifted green thumb and found joy in planting and nurturing flowers around her home. Every year, her and her late husband would grow a huge vegetable garden, often more than enough to also supply family and friends. She loved to solve jigsaw puzzles, watch westerns and thrillers, relax in nature, drink coffee, shop, and spend time with her family and pets. She will be missed tremendously. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Franklin Perdue and brother Virgil Hudson. Left to cherish her memories are her son Jody Perdue; daughter Michele Walls (BJ); granddaughters Juliana, Kayla, and Malea; grandsons Julius, Cameron, Xavier, and Jaxtyn; brothers Carl, Harold (Mary), and Vernon Cremeans; and numerous loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Please join us in celebrating her life on Friday December 6, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. noon at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, WV, with Rev. Roger Halstead officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
