Sandra (Sandy) Annette Atchison Obituary

Sandra (Sandy) Annette Atchison passed away on August 14, 2023 due to complications of a spinal cord injury.  Born May 11, 1964, Sandy is survived by her spouse, Deborah Kalinoski of Spring Hill, Florida; her son David Allen Atchison of Palm Bay, FL (an Air Force veteran); and her ex-husband Wade Atchison of Melbourne, FL.  Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Edward Francis; her mother, Barbara Francis; and her brother, Edward Francis Jr. Sandy was born May 11, 1964 in Scottsdale, Arizona where she excelled in the Coronado High School orchestra and marching band.  She achieved first team All-State Fast-Pitch Softball in Arizona.  Sandy was a home healthcare aide who specialized in working with quadriplegics.  She was an avid lover of nature, photography and the arts. A service will be held at 1 p.m. on May 11, 2024 at the Dry Creek Family Cemetery, Dry Creek, WV.  Flowers need to be ordered no later than 12 noon, May 3, 2024 from Flowers by Nancy, Beckley, WV @ 304-252-3569.
