Sidney Sid (Ballard) Williams

Sidney ‘Sid” Ballard Williams, 45, of Dorothy, WV passed away August 18, 2021 in the Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney “Dickie” Williams and grandmother, Sylvia Williams, Sid loved the outdoors with hunting, fishing, and digging seng. He had a huge heart for his family and friends, he would do without for himself to help someone he loved. Sid is survived by his mother, Nancy Bowling of Charlottesville; three children, daughter, Fate Williams and a grandson;  sisters, Christy Williams McCormick and husband, Barry McCormick of Leon, WV, Misty Williams of NC; nephews, Christopher Williams of Dorothy, Michael Williams of NC, also one niece, Savannah Williams NC, aunt, Sandra Scarbro and family of Dorothy, WV; uncle Marshall Williams of NC, Yolanda Endicott, Latosha Williams, Zach Williams, Kaydence Williams; several more living family and close friends. Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon August 26, 2021 at one o’clock in the Williams Family  Cemetery Dorothy, WV with Rev. Greg Scarbro officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery Dorothy, WV. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving the family.
