Steven “Stevie” Howard Williams born March 25th, 1980, in Beckley, WV went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, Jan 18th, 2024. Stevie was a graduate of Sherman High school and a Mountaineer fan. He was a member of WVFD and attended Sylvester Full Gospel Lighthouse church. Stevie was known and loved by everyone in his community. Stevie enjoyed walking the roads of his small town and saying hi to everyone. He had a huge heart and always helped others and never expected anything in return unless they wanted to give him a can of snuff or a Mt Dew. He enjoyed hanging out at the fire department and helping the town of Whitesville with any job. He always wanted to be a coal miner and would wake up early so he could wave at them and yell y’all be safe. They would sometime stop and give him a ride or toss him a can of snuff. Stevie enjoyed cooking and loved to prepare meals for his family. Stevie was greeted at heaven's gate by his mother and father Della and Clyde Williams who he loved dearly. He is survived by his sister, Angela Peters (Jeff) of Seng Creek WV who loved him very much. Stevie loved his sissy as she was his rock through everything and she always made sure he was taken care of; a brother, Daniel Boone Williams of Seng Creek, WV; nephews, Jeffery C (Kristin) Peters, Bradley (Brook) Peters, and Matthew Peters; nieces, Khloe and Pyper Williams; a great niece and nephew, Athena and James Peters. A loving aunt, Becky Peters; cousins, Betty and Heather Baisden that loved and helped him. Also, left to cherish his memory are many cousins, aunts and uncles and close friends that will miss him dearly. Stevie leaves behind his best friends and neighbors that he adored Vicki, Gary and Jack Keys of Seng Creek, WV. A special thank you to the staff of Montgomery nursing home for their undivided time and impeccable care of Stevie. His days were brighter because of you.
