Terri Lee Ferrell Stewart, 66, of Sylvester, WV went to her Heavenly home on April 14, 2025. First and foremost, she wanted everyone to know she is a Christian and that she didn’t die; she just changed addresses. Terri was born December 1, 1958 in Charleston, WV, the youngest of five children. Among her many roles in life, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, always witnessing for our Lord Jesus. Terri was a mighty prayer warrior no matter the time and place. She was an exceptionally hard worker, whether managing a clinic or handling mail, and her most cherished work was at Keith Full Gospel Church, where she sang, played bass guitar and drums, ministered to many adults and children, and slung hot dogs. Terri served others faithfully, even as her body wore down and succumbed to illness. She encouraged others to keep the Faith. She fought the good fight. Terri passed away the way she wanted to, peacefully in her sleep with her precious doggies, Sophia and Benji, by her side. She had wanted to close her eyes in this world and have Jesus come and take her home when her time came. Certainly, when she took her last breath here on earth, Jesus escorted her to the home she longed for. Terri was preceded in earthly death by her parents, Harvey and Rosetta Ferrell, and her precious sisters Anna Jean Jackson and Sandra Stephens. She is survived by her children, Christina Herrell and Stanley Stewart II, daughter-in-law Debra Stewart, grandchildren Douglas Stewart, Lukas Herrell, Emmalyn Herrell, and Owen Stewart, brother Harvey Ferrell Jr., and sister Rebecca Hutchinson, along with a multitude of family and friends who loved and cherished her and always will. Terri’s service will be held at Keith Full Gospel Church on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, with viewing from 11-1 and service at 1, officiated by Pastor June Ferrell and Mike Keeney. Interment will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV.
