Timmy E. Shelton, 77, of Arnett, Vest Virginia, was called home on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House. Tim was proceeded in death by his parents, Alvin L. Shelton and Emma E Scarbro Shelton. Infant brothers Roy and Dempsey Shelton, brothers Arthur and John Paul Shelton, and a sister, Helen, Bragg. He was also proceeded by his son Timmy Shelton, and daughter, Christi Shelton. Tim was born in Omar, West Virginia on January 11, 1943. He Graduated from Marsh Fork High School in 1959. Immediately after graduating he went to serve in the United Sates Army. After his service he worked in the mines and became Chief Electrician for Peabody Coal Company and retired from the mines in 1995 after nearly 30 years of hard work and dedication. Tim never met a stranger and was dearly loved by all who knew him. He was known for his generous giving spirit and his love of his family. Along with the enjoyment he had in his later years while rebuilding old cars and trucks in his garage while still playing music. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Anna Lou Shelton, and his daughter, Amy Shelton. His Grandchildren: Kodi Young, Dustin Young, John Shelton, Spencer Shelton, Julian Myers, and Aiden Myers. Great grandchildren, Noah and Winter; siblings, his brothers: Bob, Charlie and Jerry Shelton and sisters, Reba Stone and Betty Shelton. Also, a great number of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of his life will be planned at a later date.
