TOMMY JOE SMITH, age 63, of Whitesville, WV passed away May 3, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital Charleston, WV after a short illness. Tommy was born May 13, 1958 to the late LeRoy and Arbutus Lowe Smith. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sara “Cricket” Williams Smith; son Christopher Dudley of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren Montana Danielle Dudley and Christopher Dudley Jr. of Kent Store, VA; Brother RoyLee (Rose) Smith, Sisters Kathy (Ronnie) Beverly and Sarah Jane Smith all of Whitesville, WV; several nieces and nephews and Special Friend Jamie Holstein. Tommy was a heavy equipment operator, former miner and good mechanic. He enjoyed the outdoors- the mountains-being on the water-and tinkering in his garage. He had a heart for helping anyone he could no matter the size of the project. “No Doubt” he was loved, respected, and will be greatly missed! Tommy’s final wish was for cremation only.
