It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our mother, Tonda Juanita Williams. She left us on August 13, 2024, at the age of 62, after a beautifully lived life. She was born August 27, 1961, in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Charles G. Burdette and the late Bonnie Belle Burdette. We were blessed with a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and unconditional love. She was a Wife, Mother, and Nana, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. Tonda is survived by her husband, Hogan L Williams; six children, Megan Walkup (Gary), Brittany Walkup (Christy), Taylor Walkup (Dean), Jeffrey Walkup (Lakynn), Shane Williams, Samantha Williams (Houston); 12 grandchildren who were the light of her life, Kailey Stover, Kadence Gunnoe, Connor Stover, Adysen Pettry, Noah McKinney, James Williams, Charley Pettry, Dallas Jarrell, Dawson Jarrell, Landan Walkup, Amilia Workman, Preslyn Walkup; many siblings, nieces and nephews, and many friends, whom she dearly loved. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at The First Baptist Church of Whitesville, in Whitesville, WV, at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be two hours before the service with Pastors Dennis Dye and Jeff Shea. Burial will follow at the Estep Cemetery in Ameagle, WV.
