Travis Lee Willman

Travis Lee Willman, 34, of Williamson, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at his apartment. He was born October 20, 1989 in Beckley, WV. He graduated at Liberty High School in 2008. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Roberta Hill of Dorothy, WV and David and Doris Willman of Norwalk, OH. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Dana and Shelly Willman of Dorothy, WV; sister, Shela and Thomas Foley of Dorothy, WV; two nephews, Kayden and Kody of Dorothy, WV; several aunts, uncles, cousins and host of friends. He enjoyed fishing and riding ATV’s. He liked the Carolina Panthers, and his favorite color was blue. He enjoyed helping other people. His testimony began by saying that he had been addicted to Meth and Heroin, three open heart surgeries and a pacemaker upon completing rehab at Serenity Point. He was inspired and led to help others who struggled as he had. He then went to receive a diploma to be a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, working at Serenity Point Rehab to help others. He volunteered his time and was dedicated and determined to help others. There are numerous testimonies to honor in his memory of October 1, 2024 which made him four years clean. A Candlelight Memorial services will be held at Workman Creek Methodist Church, Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6 to 9 with Pastor Arolette Stover. A second candlelight service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 7:30pm at Leah’s Garden at East First Avenue Williamson, WV 25661 with Pastor Wes Thomasson.  Isaiah: 40:31 For those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings as eagles they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint. Travis will be cremated. Armstrong Funeral Home is serving family.
