Viola "Violet" Marshall

Viola “Violet” Marshall, 86, of Arnett, WV died February 28, 2022, at Hilltop Nursing Center, Oak Hill, WV after a long illness.   Violet was born on May 27, 1935, to Dewey and Will Honaker. Violet was preceded in death by husband, Henry “Bazz” Marshall; brothers, Jack, Ross, Kermit, Sherman and Ted Honaker; sisters, Kittie Matthews and Patty Honaker. She was the last member of her immediate family.  She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly including her caregivers, Jack Honaker who she referred to as “her baby” and who she thought could walk on water, Wilma Cook with whom she often butted heads and Mary Jane Honaker who was her cohort. Graveside services will be held Friday March 4, 2022, at 11:00am in the Honaker Cemetery # 2, Arnett, WV with Rev. Earl Cooper officiating.
