Wanless “Skip” Harvey of Rock Creek, WV passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at his home. He was born January 29, 1950 at Welch, WV a son of the late Onnie and Elsie Taylor Harvey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Lynn Harvey; silbings, Bill Harvey, Roger Harvey, Ruby Smith, Phyliss Brooks, Myrla, and Garnet Lyons. Wanless was retired coal miner with Massey Energy with 26 years of service. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deborah J. Harvey; a son, Michael Onnie Harvey; four grandchildren; siblings, Peggy Whitely, Bonita Oliff, Lena Miller and May. Wanless’s request was for cremation only. Armstrong Funeral Home will service the family.
